A Bit about the U.K tour from ‘HOLLYWOOD’
Gidday, from the United Kingdom to all of Kev’s fans around the world. We have been here since departing Perth, Western Australia on the 1 October 2006, and kicked off with a gig at Southend on Sea on the 4 October 2006 to an audience of over 1600 people, a great start to the tour.
By the time you read this we would have completed over 20 shows with another 32 to perform around the United Kingdom, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
The major difference performing over this part of the world is we perform in Theatres, no pubs or clubs and most of the theatres are many years old with the Theatre in Shrewsbury being built in the 16^th Century. After the performance at Shrewsbury on the 27^th October 2006, we were informed Laurel and Hardy and the Beatles had performed there which made us feel quite special. They even used the same dressing room back stage that we did. A great experience for us all. ( I will include a photo of the theatre in a future blurb)
Our office staff in UK at Auslink, Anne and Carolyn, look after things very well and we are most fortunate to have two beautiful ladies taking care of business in this part of the world. They ensure that all venues and accommodation are booked well before we arrive in UK. The tours over here always run smoothly, mainly due to there organisation.
Once again as on any tour Kev has a number of craps before lunch time and I am sure it is something to do with the amount of piss he consumes, we don’t know how he does it but then he is a *_legend._*
Our breakfast is an experience in its own right. We either have breakfast at the hotel prior to our normal departure of 10.00am or we have it on the road at about 11.30am at either a “Death Wagon” (a side of the road food trailer), which has great meals or we stop at cafes called “Little Chefs”. Kev calls them “Little Thiefs” anyway; once again the tucker is good.
A highlight of any tour is catching up with all our mates after the gig and signing all the merchandise. We meet some very interesting fans and love to talk to you all. I specifically like the “tit” signing because I take the photos. Thank you to all those wonderful ladies that show us their wonderful appendages, and thank you to their male mates who accept
the process as a lot of fun.
Hope you are all enjoying life, having lots of laughs and heaps of fun.
Remember “Fill the glass that’s empty and empty the glass that’s full”
Cheers
“Hollywood”

Thanks to the funniest man I’ve ever met…I travelled from the Isle of Man to Folkestone to see your show; then caught you again at Burswood in December. I live in Perth now, so hopefully you do plenty of shows back home!
