G’day all from the -New Chick-x80x9D!

This is my first blog here at Kev’s little office by the ocean in Perth, Western Australia so I thought I’d take this opportunity to introduce myself and let you know a bit about what’s been going on here, and I tell you what there’s been plenty…

My name’s Gemma (aka Gem, Gemstone or at least for now fondly known as -Oi, you!-x80x9D) and for the short time I’ve been here, I got to say it’s pretty awesome. It’s funny, I remember when I first met all the guys a few years ago, I was lucky enough to do some singing on one of Kev’s albums (now THAT was awesome!) and although I didn’t realise it then, it was a subconscious dream of mine to be a part of the Kev team. Would never have thought that I’d be one of the farting, cussing, beer drinking crew at Both Barrels Music. I’m a Bundy chick who’s a bit rough round the edges so I feel like a pig in mud!

But enough about me, I’m going to fill you in about what’s been going on around here.

Kev has just come back from an extremely successful, sold out tour of Queensland and the Northern Territory. Not only was he touring but thanks to a rowdy crew in Darwin we filmed Kev’s brand spanking new LIVE DVD, and from what I hear Boy! Do you Darwinians know how to party!

The boys would like to say a huge thank you to the lovely ladies that got their tits out, you guys have really made the DVD. Also a very special thank you to the buxom, flashing Swedish backpacker the guys bumped into on one of their night time strolls, no she wasn’t a prostitute… (They were good boys Mrs Kev crew). It brought a new meaning to -If you ask, you shall receive-x80xA6-x80x9D So if you want your very own new DVD of Kev Live, and I know you all do, it will be out soon so keep your eye on the Merchandise Page for updates.

Queensland and the Northern Territory really knew how to show Kev a good time, but now it’s New South Wales’ turn! This is your big chance to show the other states how it’s done with only a few short weeks until Kev’s back on the road again. Check out Kev’s Tour Dates to see if he’s coming to a place near you. For those who reckon they’re too far, all I can say is -ROAD TRIP!-x80x9D

After two years of it coming we have finally moved offices! The place is looking pretty fucking spiffy, with toys galore. My favourite new toy is the video camera outside the front gate that gives me the opportunity to perv on the guys walking past, so if you hear a wolf whistle coming from a front gate intercom, it’s only me-x80xA6 Shit you look hot!

Also the boys have been pretty lucky, not only have they had me start here but we’ve had Kristy, our temp come in to help us get settled. That makes two blondes in one office, and she drinks Bundy too! I know they say that blondes have more fun, but with two in here this place rocks! Kev’s got his own little virtual playboy mansion. Any more blondes and there might be a question of how much actual work gets done here. Cough, No-x80xA6 I’m bullshitting you, we do get lots of work done (wink-x80xA6 The manager might read this).

P.S. Please no more of that fucking -ABBO, Greatest Hits-x80x9D photo (below). It was hilarious the first, second, even third time-x80xA6 but once you get to the 9,971,356th it gets a bit annoying. Don’t be offended if you get a reply email of -FUCK OFF!-x80x9D
