Anyone that knows even a little bit about KEV, knows he loves country music

As a lifelong fan of the genre, it's fair to say he lives and breathes country music

KEV started his career, back in Kalgoorlie, as a radio announcer, with his own Sunday morning country show

One of the first 'big name' interviews KEV did back then, was with the American country music singer, Charley Pride

Charley has gone on to become a legend in country music, a Grammy winner, Grand Ole Opry member, a multiple CMA winner, who's racked up more than 70 million album sales

A legend indeed

It should come as no surprise then, that when KEV was looking for the right country artist to record one of his many 'straight' compositions, the first person he contacted was Charley

And he said YES!

The end product of this exciting collaboration, is the traditional, and completely fabulous (if we do say so ourselves) song, MY DAYS ALL END IN WHY

This song will feature largely in the NASHVILLE episode of RHYTHMS & ROOTS (we will have some exciting R&R news to share with you REALLY soon!!)

Don't be concerned though, as well as continuing to write 'straight' songs for other artists, KEV is currently working on a new album of original 'KBW' tunes.
