    I fell in 'love' with Kev and his fantastic brand of comedy and music on a trip to Australia in 1988. I have followed his career every since and been to see him every time he visits Scotland including his last 'cop u later' tour! Having DILLIGAF will let me have a wee bit of Kev from now on. Lol :-)

    I discovered Kevin Bloody Wilson while I was deployed as part of Operation Desert Shield (later known as Desert Storm). I found a cassette tape of his in a Saudi Arabian shopping mall. I was blown away by how funny it was. I had heard other comedians but never I had I known someone that could sing & make me laugh so hard. For years afterwards, and continuing today, I still seek out his work and try to introduce others to it. My wife of almost fifteen years is also a fan, I introduced her and even though she is a mostly prim & proper lady, loves and gets a chuckle out of Kev's songs. Even if I don't win the book, I wanted him to know how much joy and laughter he brought to our lives. All the best.

    In the words he uses for Nigel, Kev IS a Fucking Legend. I saw him when he first came over to the Palladium and have followed him around the UK wherever I happen to be at the time. People think it must be easy to do what he does but to keep coming up with so much new material is incredible. I also like the fact the he kowtows to no one, except Betty of course. Good on yer Kev give them both barrels......

    My partner has always loved kevin and to be honest i never took much notice and used to make him listen to you in the car so the kids wouldnt hear....... but then one day i had a listen and i love i mean love this mans songs.... so ive now got to sneak a listen in while the kids arent around (as much as i love you i dont want my kids singing your songs... just yet lol although i couldnt help but imagine how the school would have reacted if the stood up and sang "hey santa claus you cunt....) So basically kevin you are my guilty pleasure when everyone else in the house is out or in bed i get to listen to you and nothing would keep me happier than to have your book to read while im listening - Emma xxx

    Since I'm probably the only fan Kev has in Sweden I think awarding me this book is way cheaper then booking him a tour up to the Polar circle. But like the apostles before me I'm spreading The Word, so in just 45-50 years I think we could probably fill a barn or two if is to much hassle to give me the book!

    Originally from Perth, I now live in Oklahoma in America. That's Bible Belt, Oklahoma. Kev's music and comedy keeps me sane over here, and it's also a joy to watch the faces of uptight Americans when I play songs like "You Can't Say Cunt In Canada" for them. Evidently you can't say cunt in America either. Either way, being lost in a country where people get uptight and sensitive over the most inane and subtle issues, a country where people blame everyone but themselves for mundane and mediocre shit, Kev reminds me that there is sanity beyond melodrama by embracing the philosophy of DILLIGAF. So much so, I fucking greet people with the phrase now simply to enjoy their confused looks of incomprehension. "DILLIGAF to you, my friend", I'd say, and their confused looks make my day. Anyway, I could go on forever. But besides the obvious, that Kev's work makes me laugh and has given me absolute joy for years, it is his music and comedy that keeps me grounded and blissfully ignorant of silly drama, and keeps me in check so that I don't turn into a Seppo full of whinging. Thanks for everything, Kev. And DILLGAF to you, my friend.
